FEATURED SIDING PROJECT

Stucco to James Hardie Siding in Marietta

Cracks in the stucco told this Marietta homeowner something was wrong. He later learned it had been installed with no expansion joints, so instead of patching it, he replaced it with primed James Hardie siding, soffit and fascia and Horizon Stone. We also swapped some arched windows for standard ones, put in an 8-foot front door and built a new front porch roof.

PROJECT STORY

Cracks in the Stucco

ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS

Hardie Siding, Horizon Stone and Black Gutters

The siding, soffit and fascia are James Hardie, installed primed. The front of the house is board and batten, and the sides and back are lap siding. Horizon Stone in the Rock Face style and Hermitage color is mixed in with the siding. Black gutters with round downspouts finish the roofline.

At the front, we replaced some of the arched windows with standard windows. We took out the old front door and the arch over it, put in an 8-foot-tall door, and built a new roof over the front porch.

THE RESULT

A Home That Looks Brand New

The stucco is gone, replaced with James Hardie siding, Horizon Stone and new black gutters.
