Roof Replacement in Henry County and Middle Georgia
We replace shingle roofs, install metal roofs and put TPO on flat commercial roofs across Henry County, Middle Georgia and Metro Atlanta. Every shingle we install is CertainTeed. We’re a CertainTeed ShingleMaster, which is what lets us offer CertainTeed’s extended warranty.

What Goes Under Every Shingle Roof We Install
Most roof quotes look alike until you read what goes under the shingles. These are the standards on every shingle roof we put on, and each one shows up as its own line on your estimate.
7/16 OSB Decking
Where decking needs replacing, we use 7/16-inch OSB. We never go thinner.
Nothing Under a 3:12 Pitch
We don’t put shingles on any section flatter than a 3:12 pitch. Those sections get rolled roofing instead. It’s a fixed rule, not a judgment call.
Ice and Water in Every Valley
Valleys are one of the most common places for a roof to leak. We line every valley with ice and water membrane, and run it around pipe boots and other penetrations too.
Algae-Resistant Shingles Only
CertainTeed sells its shingles in a standard version and an algae-resistant (AR) version. We install the AR version every time, over CertainTeed’s synthetic underlayment, which their extended warranty calls for.
Roofing Systems for
Homes and Businesses
We install shingle, metal and TPO roofs on homes and commercial buildings, and we repair storm damage. We’ll tell you which system fits the building, the pitch and your budget, and we’ll tell you when a repair is enough.
Shingle Roofing
CertainTeed only, from 3-tab and architectural shingles up to designer lines like Presidential and Grand Manor. We stopped installing other brands after years of warranty problems with them.
Metal Roofing
Metal roofs for homes and commercial buildings. We’ll price metal and shingles side by side so you can compare real numbers.
Commercial Roofing
Roof replacement for offices, retail space, warehouses and other commercial buildings: shingles or metal on sloped sections, TPO on flat ones.
Commercial TPO Roofing Systems
TPO is a single-ply membrane for flat and low-slope roofs. It’s what we install where a commercial roof is too flat for shingles.
Storm Damage Restoration
We inspect after wind and hail, photograph what we find, and repair or replace it. We work for you, not your insurance company.
Roof Replacements
Tear-off, new underlayment, flashing, drip edge, pipe boots and shingles, with every item listed on your estimate.
Signs Your Roof May
Need Attention
If you see any of these, have the roof looked at before the next storm. We’ll tell you if a repair will do.
Damaged Shingles
Curling, cracked, or missing shingles can expose your roof to moisture and further damage.
Roof Leaks & Water Stains
Water stains on ceilings or walls may indicate roofing issues that should be addressed promptly.
Storm Damage
High winds, hail, and severe weather can compromise roofing materials and reduce your roof’s effectiveness.
Dry-Rotted Pipe Boots
On roofs 5 to 10 years old, the leak call we get most is a dry-rotted rubber pipe boot. That’s a maintenance fix, not a new roof. Lead pipe boots cost more but outlast rubber ones.
What Affects Roofing Costs?
Your price comes down to four things: how big and steep the roof is, which shingle or system you choose, what we find under the old roof, and ventilation. We measure with HOVER (occasionally EagleView), then add waste by roof type: 10% for a gable roof, 15% for a hip roof, and up to 20% for a roof with lots of hips and cuts.
Your estimate lists squares of shingles, bundles of hip and ridge and starter, rolls of underlayment, and even nails, caulk, pipe boots and drip edge, so you can see everything going on your roof. Leftover material is yours to keep if you want it.
Factors That Impact Cost
Roof Size and Complexity
Bigger, steeper roofs with more hips and valleys take more material, more waste and more labor.
Roofing Material Selection
Standard 3-tab and architectural shingles come 3 bundles to a square. Designer lines like Presidential and Grand Manor take 5 to 6, which shows up in both material and labor.
Existing Roof Condition
Rotted decking or extra layers of old shingles mean more tear-off and new 7/16 OSB. We can’t see all of it until the old roof is off, so decking is listed as an option you only pay for if we use it.
Ventilation and Spray Foam
If we’re also spray-foaming the roof deck, we leave out vented soffit and ridge vent, since they’d be wasted money on a sealed attic. Spray foam can be added to a roof job or done on its own.

How We Handle Insurance Work
We work for you, not your insurance company. Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-393.12) lets only licensed public adjusters negotiate a claim for you, so we don’t. Our price is the same whether the money comes from your carrier or your own account.
01
Schedule an Inspection
After wind or hail, we inspect the roof and photograph the damage we find.
02
Get Our Line-Item Estimate
You get the same line-item estimate we’d write if no claim were involved. Our price is our price.
03
You Deal With Your Adjuster
You deal with your adjuster directly. Once you’ve hired us, if the carrier pays less than our estimate, we’ll show you what’s missing so you can ask your adjuster a precise question.
04
Hidden Damage Goes in as a Supplement
Adjusters can only pay for what they see. If more damage or a code upgrade turns up once the old roof is off, it gets documented and submitted as a supplement. Whether your policy has code upgrade coverage decides if that costs you only your deductible or more.
At a glance
How do we figure out how much roofing your house needs?
We measure with HOVER, then add waste by roof type. Every square, bundle and roll then shows up as its own line on your estimate.
| Waste on a gable roof | 10% |
|---|---|
| Waste on a hip roof | 15% |
| Waste on a roof with lots of hips and cuts | Up to 20% |
| 3-tab and architectural shingles | 3 bundles per square |
| Presidential and Grand Manor shingles | 5 to 6 bundles per square |
| Flattest pitch we’ll shingle | 3:12 |
| Typical life of a rubber pipe boot | 5 to 10 years |
Not the right fit if you want a shingle brand other than CertainTeed, or shingles on a roof flatter than 3:12.
Roofing FAQs
Straight answers to the roofing questions homeowners ask us.
How do I know if I need a new roof?
Missing or curling shingles, stains on a ceiling, storm damage, or sagging areas. We’ll inspect it and tell you plainly whether a repair will do or the roof needs replacing.
How long does a roof typically last?
It depends on the shingle line, how it was installed and how it’s kept up. The warranty on the line you choose sets CertainTeed’s coverage, and we’ll walk you through those terms before you sign. The most common problems we see on 5-to-10-year-old roofs are dry-rotted rubber pipe boots and algae streaking, and neither one means a new roof.
Can a roof be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes. Isolated damage, a bad pipe boot or a few lost shingles can be repaired. Widespread damage, several leaks or an old roof usually make replacement the better spend, and we’ll show you why.
What is the difference between architectural shingles and 3-tab shingles?
3-tab shingles are a single flat layer and cost the least. Architectural shingles are thicker and layered, which gives the roof more depth. We install both, always in CertainTeed’s algae-resistant versions.
Is metal roofing worth the investment?
It costs more up front than shingles. Whether it pays off depends on how long you’ll own the building and the look you want. We’ll price metal and shingles side by side so you can decide with real numbers.
Will insurance cover storm damage to my roof?
That depends on your policy and what caused the damage, and it’s between you and your carrier. We document what we find and give you our estimate. One thing worth checking now: whether your policy has code upgrade coverage (often called ordinance or law coverage). It decides whether damage found mid-job costs you only your deductible or more.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements can be completed within a few days, depending on roof size, weather conditions, material selection, and project complexity.
What commercial roofing systems do you install?
TPO on flat and low-slope roofs, metal roofing, and shingles on sloped sections.
What is TPO roofing?
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a single-ply roofing membrane used on flat and low-slope roofs. We install it where a roof is too flat for shingles.
What should I expect during a roof inspection?
We look at the shingles, flashing, valleys, pipe boots, ventilation and any decking we can see, and we measure the roof with HOVER. Then you get a line-item estimate, or we tell you a repair is enough.
