Covered Porch, Deck and Full Exterior in Tucker
This Tucker, GA, home had years of deferred maintenance, starting with gutters rusted completely through. We replaced the siding, roof and gutters, redid the deck in TimberTech, added a roof over part of it for a covered porch and rebuilt the front stairs.

THE PROJECT
Deferred Maintenance, Fixed All at Once
When we first met this homeowner, her house had a lot of deferred maintenance. The gutters were rusted completely through and causing problems around the house. We put on James Hardie ColorPlus siding, soffit and fascia, a new CertainTeed Landmark roof in Weathered Wood and new gutters with Everclean.
THE DECK
A Covered Porch on the Deck
We replaced the deck boards with TimberTech in Silver Maple and built a roof over part of the deck to make a covered porch. The railings are cedar with Fortress metal balusters.
THE OPEN DECK
Built Around the Backyard
The rest of the deck stays open to the backyard, with the same TimberTech boards and cedar railing as the covered porch.
OUT FRONT
Front Stairs and Landscaping
The brick front porch stairs were falling off. We tore them off and rebuilt them in stone, with Belgard pavers and new metal handrails. The landscaping was overgrown, so we coordinated new landscaping for the front and back yards.
THE WHOLE HOUSE
One Contractor for the Whole House
Siding, roof, gutters, deck, porch, stairs and landscaping, planned and run as one project instead of a different contractor for each piece.
